Sensible Driving Can Increase Your Gas Mileage 5-33%

If you are an aggressive driver…and you know who you are…you are wasting gas not to mention freaking out some little old ladies. Speeding, rapid acceleration and braking are all prime examples of what NOT to do when you are driving and trying to increase your gas mileage.
Being courteous and using your God given common sense can lower your gas mileage by 33 percent on the highway and a whopping 5 percent in town. In this blog I am not even going to go into the health benefits of being a well-mannered driver. Sensible driving is not only safer for you but also for others on the road. You will save more than just gas money using this levelheaded driving method.

Great show on mythbusters about this the other night. Saving gas by driving while calmer - they showed an almost 20% difference!
